Several radical new changes impacting our business model and the service we provide to you:
New international shipping regulations went into effect July 1, 2026 (see below for more information)
Effective July 1st, 2026: Due to legislative changes and technical modifications regarding customs declaration of parcels, an EORI importer code (Economic Operators Registration and Identification number) and a power of attorney signed by the recipient are now required in order for us to be able to carry out all customs formalities on your behalf, namely the declaration and presentation of the goods to customs, the payment of customs and import duties (if any), and the preparation of the application for the issuance of an EORI number. This is a one time process and the EORI number will remain valid for future shipments. They will contact you by phone and/or WhatsApp from one of these numbers one by one. Transport 230 is stationed in Hungary, transport 231 will be stationed in Germany, and transport 232 is pending departure in Houston. We must obtain EORI certificates for all recipients before we are allowed to receive and subsequently deliver your items to their destination.

-Maximum weight per each box 70 pounds, will be enforced
-The customs declaration form must be filled out in its entirety, in Romanian, including sender name, address, telephone, signature and destination name, address, phone and CNP, as they will be scanned into the Romanian customs registry, where various agencies, including European Union officials, will have access to them
-Description can no longer be a general description, such as: gifts, miscellaneous, stuff, household, etc., and must include the word used or second hand if not new
-Declared values up to 45 euros per invoice should be tax exempt. Any declared value between 45 and 150 euros will have a 2.5% customs duty and a 21% tva charged and is payable by the consignee in Romania
-All consignees in Romania will be required to fill out a one time power-of-attorney (imputernicire reprezentare indirect pentru H7) allowing our Arad office to process their import paperwork on their behalf
Please note we do our best to send all items in current shipments. As space available is limited, your items may be rolled over to the next available shipment.
It is prohibited to send live animals, toxic, flammable or explosive substances, perishable items, weapons, drugs, gold, silver or other precious metals and stones, cash or other items prohibited by law. RO Parcel Service, LLC is not responsible for items shipped under these categories or for fragile items sent. Furthermore, we are not liable for any losses due to events we cannot control, including but not limited to acts of God, weather conditions, acts of war, or omissions of public authorities (including customs officials).
